FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Common questions about lipsync, photos-to-video, voice change, face swap,
image-to-text OCR, text-to-image, text-to-video, and audio-to-text on Grab Media.
What can I generate on Grab Media?
You can generate speech with voice change, create images from prompts, make short videos from text, turn photos into a slideshow video, lip-sync a face photo to speech, transcribe audio, extract text from images (OCR), and swap faces in photos or videos.
Do I need an account?
You can try generation without signing in while API authorization is optional. Creating an account lets you attach jobs and payments to your profile across devices.
How does image to text (OCR) work?
Open Image to Text, upload a photo or screenshot that contains readable text, then submit. The scheduler runs OCR on the server and returns the extracted text in your task list. Keep uploads under the image size limit (10 MB). Use a sharp, well-lit image for better accuracy.
How does lipsync work?
Open Image to lipsync video. Upload a clear, front-facing face photo, then add speech audio or type the words to speak. The job produces a video of that face speaking. If a price is configured, complete payment or use a remaining free daily schedule before the job is queued.
How do I turn photos into a video?
Open Photos to Video. Upload one or more photos, and optionally video clips or an audio track. Choose a slideshow style, then generate. The result is a video you can preview and download from your task list.
How does face swap work?
Open Face Changer. Upload a source face image (the face you want to apply), a target image or video (where the face should appear), and optionally a target-face photo if the video has several people. The job is queued on the server. Target videos must stay under 30 MB and 60 seconds. Only use faces and footage you have the right to process.
How does the voice changer work?
Open Voice Change (text to audio). Provide a reference voice clip, then either type a script or upload speech to convert. The backend generates audio in the reference voice. Keep audio uploads under 10 MB and only use voices you own or have permission to clone.
How do I convert text to speech?
Use Voice Change (text to audio): pick or upload a reference voice, enter your script, and the system generates speech in that voice.
Can I upload a reference image for video or image generation?
Yes. Text-to-image and text-to-video accept an optional reference image to guide the output alongside your text prompt.
What audio formats work for transcription and voice change?
Common formats such as WAV, MP3, M4A, OGG, FLAC, and WebM are accepted. If a file fails, try exporting it as WAV or MP3 and upload again.
Why is generation slow sometimes?
Image, video, and face-swap models are compute-heavy. OCR, voice change, and transcription are usually faster. Wait times depend on server load, queue position, and the size of your request.
